As a child growing up in the Bronx, New York, I helped my father with his work in the printing business. This is where I learned what I know about how colors, black and white blend and come together to catch the eye. After high school, I served as a Combat Navy Corpsman with the United States Marine Corps. During that time I was trained to focus; to find the detail in a scene that might pass by the eye of a casual observer. It wasn't until several years later, as a stone mason, that I realized I was putting these skills to use creatively. One year, I received a good quality camera for Christmas.
